Perhaps if they were recorded on a different label and they no longer record for them, why would you want to give a company that doesn't look after you more royalties ?

Artists who gain fame and wealth from stuff their fans bought and paid for again and again probably shouldn't gripe if they pop their heads up in public for a gig and then gripe about the hits they love.

Sure, but then I realize how sick the band must be of their own songs. Doesn't bother me that much.
Those bands have come to hate those songs because they have become radio fluff, despite those hits being their money makers, there are rumors that Slash will walk off the stage if the audience screams for Sweet Chilf of Mine, he hates that song with a passion.
