For me Zeppelin. I really enjoyed Zep throughout their career. Purple next although I preferred the Coverdale line up Burn is a fabulous album imho.
Lastly sabbath again I preferred the Heaven & Hell Dio fronted version.

My vote goes to Led Zeppelin, but 1969 (their first album) should be included.

Sabbath actually wrote original material which set the real heavy metal in motion

I never saw Deep Purple live - I liked some of their stuff but wasn't a huge fan. I saw Sabbath once - but only because they were supporting Curved Air; Paranoid was great! I first saw Zeppelin in 1970 at the Bath Festival - they were excellent! I saw them again in 1973/74 at the Alexandra Palace in London, promoting Led Zep IV. One of the best - and loudest - concerts ever!

Led Zeppelin. They were hugely influential and even today much of their music sounds 'fresh'. The other 2 bands not so much.

I don't like any of their music it all sucks
ronnie · 56-60, M
@ExtremeNext Not it doesn't. Simply because you do not like any of it, does not mean it 'sucks'. It simply means you do not properly understand the development and evolution of contemporary music.
In the 60s, people like John Mayall, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and others - all based around the London area - took popular music in a direction that we all need to respect. No less than the classical composers or blues and jazz artists.
To simply state that music 'sucks' says more about your lack of musical knowledge than it endorses your value as a critic!

Boy! That is a tough one. I will have to go with Zep simply because of their style and versatility. The other two bands are very deserving as well in their respective sound.
