Far after the "classic" Deep Purple era, I think? One of my favorite records, PERIOD, what do you think?

It's a classic. Love the original.

@SilkandLace2 I can't remember the original vocalist in order to clarify.

@Grateful4you oh, I see, I only recently found out Ian wasn't the original, I gotcha

@Grateful4you is that first major hit called "Hush" I think? I Always thought that didn't sound like Gillian, then I found out it wasn't, kinda relieved tbh
@SilkandLace2 I always found "Sally go round' the roses" really unique, a real departure from what was being recorded back then.

@Grateful4you oh, I have to check that out then, never heard of it
@SilkandLace2 It has a very unique, "different" quality. As a youngster, I had a flair for spotting out folks who would eventually be "{discovered) "The Association" was one, (I actually suggested the name change to Ted Bluchel the bands drummer) I was one of Barbra's first fans.

I also predicted Edward Albee's "Who's afraid of Virginia Wolfe" would be a major movie including the two major stars it would feature. I was just odd that way.

@SilkandLace2 Rod Evans was Purple's first vocalist and Nick Simper was the first bass player before Roger Glover. :)
