Nah its the radicals that are the worst. Radical religious, radical liberal, radical conservative, radical anything. Its the people that arent open minded, that cant see through their own bs, that cant or wont accept reality. Its the ones that step on others to get what they need, the ones that play the victim but are actually the aggressors. Id much rather live in the bible belt than say california where there are infinitely more atheists and liberals

@JestAJester This is actually a very true and profound statement. It seems the further we move away from GOD in our lives and values the worse we become. I am in no shape or fashion "Perfect," [i]never will be[/i] but having GOD as the One Who sets my standard to which I live to, is keeping me from a life of debauchery and sin and extreme selfishness.

@JestAJester You do see how it gets tough to be "open minded' for some who consider religion to be pure and utter bullshit, right? I think most atheists are pretty damn patient given how much religion is shoved out there in this country. But when it's about hate, enemies and discrimination...fuck that. My reality is that atheists are easily the most "moral" group out there.
BTW...I hope you have a chance to visit California some day. I'm not sure the state I live in is what you think it is.

@JestAJester I don't get it then. Why would you prefer to live someplace where you'd potentially be ostracized? And just to toss it out there, CA isn't even CLOSE to the perception some have of it being a place of nothing but liberals and atheists. Trust me on that. It's just that the "my way or the highway" perspective isn't prevalent. CA allows for people to do what they want to do.

@Ynotisay because theyre decent people out here. No one needs to know im atheist and i dont care if they know or not. Once in awhile i get the jesus propaganda and i just kind of turn and walk away. I think you guys are looking for persecution where there is none or just very little. Even those that know i am leave me alone. Its not really any different

@JestAJester Persecution? Nah dude. You missed on that. I used to live in an almost entirely Orthodox Jewish neighborhood. Along with an almost all black neighborhood as a white guy. Persecution isn't my thing. But my main point is don't slam California unless you know what you're talking about. Sounds to me like it might have been something you learned due to where you live. Which I'll assume, but could be wrong, is white and Christian. It's the "Us vs. Them" thing. That's sort of how religions rolls. I think it's total bullshit. If you don't then you don't. Your call.
