Does the gen x generation like reggae

I don't categorise people by "gen-letter" as if items in a warehouse, but many people who go through their teens and early-20s liking just one or two styles, continue to like them, perhaps more selectively, while expanding their musical tastes much more widely.

So yes, many of that age-group probably do still enjoy reggae music but now in their 40s-50s may well equally enjoy, say, ragtime and Rachmaninov as well.
