Best operas

This shall be Opera Heaven

Heaven is a Opera and vice versa, here is an opera Nietzsche favored over Wagnerian opera in an 1888 work, i think it was Ecce Homo where he looks back at his life and comments on Wagner music, but i may be misplacing it, well anyway Bizet's Carmen is just that southerly buoyant music we need we good Europeans

for some reason this doesn't play while on SW so you need to search for the Karajan Carmen, i have it on disc too

One of the running themes in Part 1 of Either/Or Kierkegaard's 1st official work was an appreciation for this opera, through that writing is a fun way to look at it as if it was one of mankind's greatest achievements .... i dedicate this to ole Kierkegaard, whose aesthetic side is a lovely place, often overshadowed by his other more dominant stage of life manner Furtwangler's conducting of Mozart's Don Giovanni is the best i've heard, would it be captivating to Kierkegaard, let me know imps of the fantastic carry word back to know instinctually whether he liked it

The parts in this where Cassavetes used in my favorite of his films stand out, and is my go to for Puccini, but i hope to feel like this for other Puccini greats too as some in my life and through herr Werner Schroeter cite for example Tosca as the lightning bolt from the blue that La boheme is for me up till now as with all the operas shared thus far, i have them all on disc, but hearing them with headphones is so nice!!!
