Please, fellow music lovers help me.

I stagnated, I stopped listening to new music before 2010 and I don't want to be that guy.

Fans of metal, rock, indie, please give me your suggestions for what I should be listening to.

For preference, anything that is written by the band performing the piece.

VolBeat, they're really the only "new" I've come across that ilike and that you'd be able to walk into a store and buy, I'm similar to you, I've mostly gotten new things from my same old bands....
