@Brooksy: do they still make Aquanet??? or did the gasping ozone finally make people feel bad? I'm not sure we can achieve the same gravity defiance without the magic spray cement... 🤔 Did they use anything different in your neck of the woods?

😆 We didn't bench press. We just said "dude" and "gnarly" to everything

@Brooksy: sigh. I lived in the sticks. All we got was "dude." And egg whites probably never caught on cuz having to go out to the chicken coop to retrieve said egg was a real possibility for half the class. 😂

That's the sticks sticks. I lived deep in woods, but we still had running water in the house and access to eggs 😏

@Brooksy: I thought I'd try pot on my 18th birthday. Burnt my lip on the pipe thingie and decided I did not have the skills required. 😂 I had my Purple Passion and my cigarettes so I was happy.

You had less-than-stellar friends. They should've warned you

@Brooksy: It wasn't me and they knew it. A spur of the moment plop down in the circle, the surprised faces followed by the smiles and shrugs. I didn't care really so it was all fine. That group was never comprised of actual friends. I was experimenting. 🙂

Did you eventually find your crowd? I can honestly say I never did.

@Brooksy: No. I had to be someone else to be tolerable to others. It got old. I have to say I'm surprised. I pictured you as a social butterfly. Moth? Is that manlier? LOL

Yeah... I was a manly moth! I was a social moth, but I never felt "at home" with any of them.
