I was watching a documentary on the making of Michael Jackson’s album "Thriller"

(On Paramount+)
How it was put together, how the music was used to integrate MTV (who initially wouldn’t air videos by black artists) and make them even richer. How the videos were made, including his work with Paul McCartney, John Landis and also how Michael’s singing style and dance moves in those videos and subsequent ones were used by groups all over the world. How it became the most popular album of all time. At one point a young rapper said, enthusiastically, "’Thriller’ was my grandmother’s favorite album !"

Any chance it mentions Rod Temperton ?

A great songwriter who actually wrote Thriller ?

I think he was always a bit disappointed he wrote hundreds of great songs for other people but got little recognition during his lifetime
@Picklebobble2 It does indeed discuss him. Here we were aware of his collaboration with MJ and his own group, Heatwave, which was very popular when I was in college.
