Favorite Metal band,genre and why?

Mine is Slipknot and yes I’ve seen them in concert. I don’t hate on any bands I don’t judge depending on what you like.

I realize there’s different genres of metal I just thought it would be easier to name the band rather than get into detail

Gotta love corrosion of conformity. Very chunky southern badass metal. Kinda like Pantera meets Skynyrd. And that southern NOLA sound with acts like Pantera or black label society, crowbar, clutch, ect.....

@Notanymore Check out the band "Down" if you haven't already heard of them...made up of members of COC, Crowbar and Phil Anselmo.
