Favorite Metal band,genre and why?

Mine is Slipknot and yes I’ve seen them in concert. I don’t hate on any bands I don’t judge depending on what you like.

I realize there’s different genres of metal I just thought it would be easier to name the band rather than get into detail

Speed metal. Suicidal tendencies, it's fast and has flow.

Heavy metal. Black Sabbath, simply because.

New metal. ??? Do they still make it?
