I saw a poll today, 50 Greatest Metal bands,, Anthrax at #43?! They are EASILY top 5?? "COME ON, MAN!"

I've honestly never listened to them much. 🤔 Any albums that are a better starting point over others? :)

@thepreposterouspanda the classic lineup, "Spreading the Disease" and "Among the Living"; they changed lead singers in '91 or '92, "The Sound of White Noise" is the best of that era in my opinion, and possibly my favorite period, "Volume 8" and "We've Come For You All" are also really good from this period; original singer came back with them off and on then stayed, first new record with him "Worship Music" is killer and easily the best album of that year, I think it was 2013 but I'm probably wrong; Anthrax is part of the Big 4 for a reason, and this poll must have been put together by someone who probably has never even heard of the genre; I really like all their albums, but these I listed above are my cream of the crop!
