Well since I'm a little older, my fave "heavy metal" groups include Black Sabbath, Deep Purple (Ritchie Blackmore is a god on guitar) Jimi Hendrix. Blue Cheer, along those lines.

@Brandon101 that's why I put heavy metal in quotation marks. They were the forerunners of the heavy metal genre
