Favorite death metal band would have to be Upon a Burning Body or Butcher Babies (although that's more deathcore, but close enough)!

Bro I love Upon a Burning Body too! I got a picture with Danny Leal at Warped Tour In 2014!

That's awesome, I saw them when they opened for In This Moment a while back. I saw BB when they opened for ITM (same show I saw UABB at) and then again when they opened for Gwar.

I've had the Marilyn Manson discussion about metal or not with some other people too, and it's a fine line, I'll admit a lot of his work tends to side a little closer to rock, but I feel his earlier (and what I mainly listen to of his) work is more reflective of his industrial metal base.

Also I can agree that the early Manson image/style is very shock rocky but I don't like to use that term because it has nothing to do with musical style and genre so it's kinda useless, you know what I'm saying?
I know what you mean! Antichrist Superstar and Holy Wood (In The Shadow of the Valley of Death) were definitely closer to industrial metal than anything else,
but I feel anything besides those two were more on the side of rock. I still think Mechanical Animals, Antichrist Superstar, and Holy Wood are his best works. His newest album (not really new anymore) is really good, have you heard it? I'm referring to "The Pale Emperor".

Yea I've heard the new one, it's pretty good, but I still like Antichrist, Mechanical, and Holy wood better.
