I Love Listening to Metal

@SW-User Nice! I’m excited for Deep Purple. I used to listen to them a lot. Haven’t seen many bands though Rainbow and Whitesnake would’ve been cool. What’s your favorite Judas Priest album?

@Throger that would be British steel, they weren't in my top five at that time. I was more appriciative of Saxon than priest, Maybe I will revisit them?

@SW-User I actually only got into them in the past year or so. Iron Maiden has always been my favorite band. But they definitely have some great albums. My personal favorite is Stained Class. Ram It Down, Screaming For Vengeance... even their newer albums have been pretty good. However, I must say British Steel is lower on my list. I may have to revisit that album but it never stuck with me.

@Throger possibly the context of the era is missing, the late 70s, the 80,s up to mid 90,s were a particularly colourful time for music and music culture particularly in the UK.

@SW-User oh yes most definitely. There’s so many bands to discover and so little time. To think that a lot of these bands paved the way for musicians we have today. It’s crazy the impact music can have, especially genre defining ones

@SW-User Thanks man! If Priest performs like they did last time at least half the concert will good. Not sure how I feel about Deep Purple, but you never know, they could blow me away and honestly hope they do
