Do you believe in a limited life without meaning?

robertsnj · 56-60, M
Yeah Nexus. I think that is accurate. Life is finite. It has a beginning and end for each of us. There is significance we can assign for our finite existence but there is no cosmological meaning.

I think that realizing life is limited (finite) and meaningless unless self-prescribed-infinitely-small significance is an important part of personal growth.
@robertsnj what has biology got to do with a spiritual life?
robertsnj · 56-60, M
@Nexus nothing. One is support by evidence and one is a matter of faith. Is this a religious / spiritual thread if so sorry for interrupting your thread (no sarcasm in that part)
@robertsnj it's not religious thread. It has plenty of evidence to the initiate.

Yes
We only have one life and there is no objective or intrinsic meaning to it.
ElRengo · 70-79, M
No.
I believe in a limited life with meaning.
fakable · T
if you mean the human sense, then yes

the global meaning of being a single chaos is present as a working mechanism without an observer

it's non-human meaning or no meaning

@Magichorse what is the meaning?

@Magichorse is that possible
acpguy · C
No. That is why I think liberals / socialists / new world order people / LGBTQs need to be removed from this world.
Alyosha · 31-35, M
Meaning is for language. Purpose is for life. The purpose of life is to love.
@Alyosha what if we never love, but have meaning?
Yes, but eternal life might one day be possible.
@BohemianBoo is that possible?
@Nexus Not yet.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
Every life has meaning
soulshadow · 36-40, M
Sure.. why not.
DDonde · 31-35, M
What do you mean by meaning here
@DDonde purpose.
DDonde · 31-35, M
@Nexus Yes I think we're without purpose by default. We're just here and we have to find a way to make what we do purposeful, once we get the survival part down.
Grainneog · 36-40
The meaning of my life is my family, to cherish and care for them.
I'm grateful to be alive and I don't care to analyse things philosophically as to why we are here, what's the meaning of life.
I have my reason and meaning, and they are here at home with me now.
