What you would call 'Old School' artists - please don't give me grief for that! - that I grew up on.
Dad loved Springsteen, Mum loved Madonna.
So there was a fair amount of her music circulating around the house when I was growing up. Mum loved, I think I'm right, the 'True Blue' album and 'Ray Of Light', those played probably the most. So I listen, via osmosis, and will play her stuff every now and then at home.
I'm a Swiftie, through and through, but can see the whole lineage line from Madonna (and, of course, artists before Madonna) to Taylor and other artists - Dua Lipa, RAYE, Britney etc - and see where they're standing.
Yeah, I like Madonna.
Reminds me of growing up.
