What’s your favorite line from a song?

Doesn’t have to be your favorite song. Just a line that you like for whatever reason.

My favorite line is one that never existed. I found out in the late 90s what the lyric actually was. It is from Ozzie Osborne’s Song “Flying high” instead of Ozzie singing “Flying high again” I thought he was singing “It’s my life yeah” and I actually like my deluded version batter. 😗
@Pfuzylogic that;s a bon jovi song 🤣

They might have covered “Flying high” but Ozzie was before Bon Jovi.

Glad you got specific on what you are talking about. I really don’t know you at all so it is difficult to assess your knowledge of early 80s metal rock. “Hair band” music was one reason I stopped listening to “rock” music.
@Pfuzylogic i grew upin the 80s and actually didn't listen to a lot of "hair bands" was more into metallica, black sabbath, megadeth, slayer and 60s and 70s stuff. ironically i got more into motley crue, poison etc as i got older, but not into that culture

Rock had become emaciated in the 80s. One of the last outdoor concerts I attended featured Rainbow with Ritchie Blackmore and Ronnie Dio. They played “Mistreated” and “Long live Rock and Roll”. It seemed a harbinger of times to come where Rock hanged onto a slim thread of hope. Ozzie Osborne reprised the spirit of Black Sabbath but with the death of Randy Rboades even that seemed compromised.
I do recall a concert with Joe Walsh and Stevie Nicks where Joe opened the concert and was well worth the ticket price of 12 bucks but Stevie was seriously coked out and we had to leave. Joe holds his drugs much better than his fling at the time.
