@NudasPriest you are so funny. I don’t know if I told you this but you remind me so much of my drummer from my first band. He was hilarious and like my best friend at the time.
@NudasPriest we used to go pick up girls together. If I picked up some girl that was interested in trying to hook up with a cute blonde… he’d say “Wing man again… you know this sucks for me, right?” He was so cool. Loved him to death and he literally watched over me like a protective brother and made sure I was never in compromising situations. He was literally gold. Probably the worst drummer I’ve been in a band with but just a great person in general.
@NudasPriest yeah… he just couldn’t quite keep time. He’d be a quarter beat behind. Once my ex Jacob started on rhythm it was better, because he’d follow Jacob. But the rhythm guitarist shouldn’t be keeping time… unless the drummer’s really weak.
@NudasPriest and he’d miss a cymbal here and there and occasionally a high hat. I didn’t know any better at the time because it was my first band… but it was just sloppy playing. The drummer in my last band was like a metronome. He was so fucking precise. He looked at all of us like we were sloppy. He was the biggest fucking dick I ever met. But also the most talented drummer I ever played with. What a difference a good drummer makes. I used to fight with him a little, though. He’d be like why am I always keeping time. I’m like… you’re a fucking drummer. That’s your job, dipshit. But honestly, I kinda get it… it sounds the best when everyone is that fucking precise. He just didn’t need to be a dick about it. lol
@NudasPriest cool. don’t know the song anyways. It’s kinda cool there’s better Christian hard rock out now. In my day it was mostly just PETRA and they were just okay.
