Can you post a sad but beautiful song from the 70's

@Justmeraeagain I would include [i]Mr Bojangles[/i] but the original version is from 1968. I would include [i]Sad Songs[/i] by Elton John, but it's from 1980. I think [i]House of the Rising Sun[/i] is a terribly sad song, especially when sung from a woman's perspective. However, it misses the '70s by at least 50 years. Here's Joan Baez singing it in 1960 at the ripe old age of 19.
