If the world was ending
These two songs always made me think about it.
Who I would call first. Or think about first. Who I would want to spend the last day with.
In reality, if the world was ending....phone lines would be down. I know this because I tried wishing a family member a happy new year at exactly midnight but the call wouldn't go through, since there was so much phone line traffic.
Actual traffic would be a nightmare. No one would be able to go anywhere. Think "Independence Day" (1996 movie).
We would all just be in our homes.
Dying with whoever is near.
Part of me still wishes you were near.
