When the air that we breathe becomes air that we choke

When the marsh fever spreads from the swamps to our homes
When your home on the range has been torn down and paved
And the buffalo roam to a slaughterhouse grave

What more will it take for us to know
This is not a test
This is cardiac arrest
Of a world too proud to admit our mistakes
Kissing the ground, as we all fall from grace

Good question. So why has the US surrendered it's consumer based economy to be supplied by dirty coal powered China?

The answer is pretty obvious. High taxes and Washington greed has made "made in America" too expensive for Americas, so our politicians have greased the path for China to fill our consumer needs at affordable prices without concern for the environment or the use of slave labor.

@Heartlander Even then, the US's energy mix is only marginally less bad than China's. IDK, there has to be some amount of protectionism involved in decarbonizing, but outsourcing to China is only a tiny part of the picture.
