it's a cover day for me, it seems.
started out with trying to offload all my purchased mp3s from amazon, I'm up to the caroline spence acoustic cover of jimmy eat world's 'the middle'. then I found another, was looking through youtube to find it and they had a suggestion for the top covers that deviated from the original - that's gonna take a minute as there's 30 some songs o go through, but finally found

which carries me off to my real tangent for the morning - is there a musical instrument that you can think of that only fits in a single musical category? I was thinking a pedal steel guitar doesn't really fit in anything other than country/western. it might have a brief appearance in 'rocket man', but I'm not completely sure.
so ... all of that shake it all up.. and... I dunno, post some cover songs you dig. or something.
