I’m a musician and enjoy playing piano 🎹 music

I’m fortunate, or blessed, to have fairly long fingers and I can play Chopin quite well. I also like playing Mozart, and Satie.

I particularly enjoy complexity in music, so things like hip hop and rock music are not in my lexicon of choice.

I’ve been playing the piano for about 60 years now. My mother and grandmother were pianists, too. Chopin was one of my mother’s favorite composers. I enjoy him as well, and Satie, but my favorites are Debussy, Ravel and Rachmaninoff.

Classical and jazz are my favorite genres, but I’m not a snob about rock or hip-hop. Some of those are artists I can appreciate, too.
