@HowtoDestroyAngels it was at a small venue too. i think just 3900 people max. my only complaint was he didn't engage the crowd much. i remember between songs some chick yells out "say something!" his response...."what do you guys want me to say....you guys rock?" in hindsight that kind of sent a message of how is personal life was going

@NativePortlander1970 i just did an ai search for the ticket price for the concert i saw in 1986 with metallica... between 14-15 usd... i think about 17 cad at the time...fucking best concert i ever saw...

@NativePortlander1970 i wouldn't want to pay 200 to see them play in a stadium that holds 50k+ i've seen them 3 or 4 times already. first time in a concert bowl with 3500 of us and the others in arena tours 15k or so...i just can't see them in a stadium like any american nfl stadium (just to give you perspective) ...i'm so jealous of my brother though because he got to see them during their ride the lightening tour in a 500 seat venue...it was at a place called the new york theatre...but in bc 🙃
