ah yes Mrs.Ann-Margret, liking them is the prerequisite of liking the new ones ;) I must listen brass everyday, just can't work without hard bop! This guy, Maalouf, is a great trumpeter, mixes eastern clarinet tunes into jazz, I love that.
I love older jazz. Dexter Gordon, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane and Miles Davis. My son is even named Miles after Mr. Davis. KInd of Blue and Giant Steps are in my top 5 of all time.
