How about this?

Benny Goodman or Glenn Miller?
RedBaron · M
Why is it necessary to choose? They were both great.
@RedBaron Very true but I was trying to start a discussion

Always self-centered and focused in the extreme, Goodman's personality could be odd. One time he got into a taxi, had a blank expression for 30 seconds, and then asked the cabdriver how much he owed him. However, he was not only a very innovative musician, but also a forward-thinking bandleader and the first to integrate black musicians on stage with a white band.

I think Benny Goodman was the more naturally gifted jazz musician of the two. Listen to his sextet recordings from around 1940 with Charlie Christian if you don't know what I mean.

Hmmmm, how about Gene Krupa? Haha 😎
@Donna15 how about him excellent drummer
I know little on them. Glenn Miller is too tame. I choose Benny Goodman. He had zing.
Benny was a bit more Rock Star.

That's a tough one. If I had to, Glenn Miller.
