@bijouxbroussard Mine too, dad loved them and Harry Belafonte, Odetta ( Theres a hole in the bucket) learned that as a kid and drove my parents nuts. Miriam Makeba, and of course Ms.Horne.

...There's a woman who was on the "Voice" who did the "Click Song" which I think was "Mother Africa's" Odetta, I wish I could remember her name because she TOTALLY rocked the click song.

@Grateful4you Yes, she sang in Xhosa. Trevor Noah speaks Xhosa (his mother’s language) and it’s an amazing thing to hear. I’ve only heard it in person once.

@bijouxbroussard Really? I saw the interview with Trevor and his mom, I see where he get's his off the wall sense of humor. All he has to do is give that big wide-eyed look and I laugh!

@bijouxbroussard Apparently so. Trevor has been SUCH a personal help to me, I honestly get so emotionally compromised of whats going on with MAGA, gun violence, the overall sheer STUPIDITY of the 43% I sometimes just feel like sleeping my life away. (realizing this is a sign of depression) Trevors goofy sense of humor is helping all of us cope with the madness. He is more healing than most people realize.

@Grateful4you That’s so true. It felt like The Daily Show would be ruined when Jon Stewart left, but Trevor made it his own. Now it’s going to be difficult to see him leave. But hopefully he will appear somewhere else soon.
