Still two of the very greatest ever.
@OldBrit Indeed. I wish Django had lived longer. He had some collaborations with Duke Ellington that were also amazing.

My dad introduced me. He was more of a Grappelli fan but through him playing old 78s he'd bought in the 40s there was Djanjo.

My dad also introduced me as a young boy to The Inkspots too through that old 78 collection which very sadly went sometime after his death.

Looking back now for a very English white shipwright working in a shipyard all his life I now realise my dad had a very electic music taste and was probably instrumental in me listening more broadly than many of my contemporaries.
