I Love Jazz

I love all sorts of music. But especially I like jazz. On Radio 3 we have jazz on Saturday afternoon. Last year in college we had to research Alice as in Wonderland but I extended this to Alice Coltrane and her husband!

I live in Kansas City, MO USA. it is one of the three homes to Jazz or as it was originally spelled, Jass.

New Orleans and New York are the other true homes to Jass music as known from the late 1890’s going forward. Kansas City’s Jass scene began around 1915 and has a club that still plays until dawn. Charlie “Bird” Parker started there. If you want to know more let me know and I’ll share
