how is it that when you listen to 80s songs on the radio now they sound 'remixed'

and not the original from the 80s? many 80s songs played now, when i hear them they sound remixed and not the original song from the 80s.

A lot of remastered audio out there.

Another thing, there's many present day bands blending elements of the 80's style into their arrangements, except with high fidelity synth/drum pads and autotune.
They're reminiscent of the period, easily confused with an 80's remixed hit.
