how is it that when you listen to 80s songs on the radio now they sound 'remixed'
and not the original from the 80s? many 80s songs played now, when i hear them they sound remixed and not the original song from the 80s.

Some may be. Or your are using a different radio that sounds subtly different.
Or of course, I doubt any us really remember songs from 30-40 years ago as accurately as that, and might now pick up the faults, middling singing ability and the like, that we missed first time round!
