how is it that when you listen to 80s songs on the radio now they sound 'remixed'

and not the original from the 80s? many 80s songs played now, when i hear them they sound remixed and not the original song from the 80s.

Some songs got rerecorded to circumvent the record company, and I guess some of those find their way into the playlist.

@darkmere1983 It has to do primarily with who owns the rights to the master recording. Usually, it's the record company and they'd have to get paid. Jeff Lynne re-recorded a whole bunch of ELO songs over to keep extra $$ when he licensed them for commercials.
