Stereo cassettes to CDs being a hit, then we were hit by the IPod phenomenon,
And like that isn't enough, who would've thought
We'd carry virtual crates in our handheld devices we call phones,
And just like that,
I went from hearing my first Latin tunes, and discovered the SOUL of music in Jazz classics, soon to be hooked with 70s classic rock and 90s house and hip hop...
No matter english spanish or French music,
There's plenty ways to do this, but there's only select pieces that has SOUL in it, and we can tell when we FEEL IT. it goes beyond 432hz, music so SOULFULL that we let go of what hurtz!!
From Jazz, enamored by the sound of the Sax playing, to the salsa in the living room, Classic rock and Santana in the car, back when the radio recognized classics, back before the radio started replaying the same ol' songs the public didn't even pick to listen.
From Jazz, to 90s House and then some Jazzy Hiphop, I remember when I first heard "It takes 2 to make a thing go right!" And "Mister DJ..." something about the piano keys, it's versatility is evident in these genres, same instrument, different vibes...
Jazz awakened my ear for my love for music, introducing me to many other genres, to rock and hiphop, I was a big hip hop head in my pre teens and adolescence, at 21, when I moved out the nest, I went back to being a Jazz head.
Now my ears have a taste for various genres, whatever legendary sounds I can discover in these infinite crates!!!
