Now this is a serious question ...

I make music videos for this crazy assume band I found on Facebook.
I want to post them here, for one, to let you guys see how great this band is and two to kind of brag and get input on the videos I made.
Now here is the catch. If I post the link it is to my YouTube account which is my real name.
Here is the question.
Should I really care if everyone knows my name??? What difference does it make??
I am the same person no matter what name I use.
I do like the comforting feeling of being Dainbramadge and feeling free to speak my mind. It just has turned out I do that anyway.
So.
What do you think??

I'd create a separate google account to use for that, probbaly with a nickname, or professional alias. it's not the worst thing that can get out, but your full name and general region where you live can be used to unravel more and more about you. the reward isn't worth the risk, and the protective measures aren't that burdensome, imho.

at least that's how I'd do it.
