Combination of artists + remix of a popular song = not too bad

La Roux (/lɑːˈruː/ lah-ROO) is an English synth-pop act formed in 2008 by singer Elly Jackson and record producer Ben Langmaid. The act's debut album La Roux (2009) was a critical and commercial success, winning a Grammy Award and producing hit singles such as "In for the Kill" and "Bulletproof". Recording of a follow-up album was marred by unsuccessful collaborations, the cancellation of two planned release dates, and reported conflict between the duo.

Chromeo is a Canadian electro-funk duo from Montreal, formed in 2002 by musicians David "Dave 1" Macklovitch and Patrick "P-Thugg" Gemayel. Their sound draws from soul music, dance music, rock, synth-pop, disco and funk.

@ThirstenHowl it’s a good example of the kind of music that became popular in the 2000’s and 20’teens’ with all kinds of people of different ages, which is exactly why I consider it Pop, whether it’s New New-wave Pop or Synth Pop or the next wave of Alt-Brit-Pop etc it’s got an appeal and style that’s very inviting to people it would seem.
