Bruce Springsteen in Super Bowl commercial for Jeep touting ‘ReUnited States of America' [I Like Bruce Springsteen]

If celebrities like him were such pricks during trumps admin, and instead took a high road versus gutter insults, maybe their words would mean something. But the reality is when they say “United” they mean “think like we say” and “support Biden”. That’s not being United: that’s submission.

I suppose the words are nice enough, but in view of his rhetoric over the last few years, I'm not sure Springsteen was the right guy to deliver a pitch for "unity". Wasn't it just a couple of months ago that he called for an "exorcism" in the nation's capital?

Of course, my cynical mind says it's a pitch for Jeep, not for unity in the first place, so maybe it's all good.

You do realize that the purpose of that commercial is to sell cars, not unity, don't you? But you love hyperbole, gotta give you that.
