It’s worth it.

My first degree was not worth much.

But my second allowed me to explore issues related to my work.

At Oxford we had to attend examinations it full academic dress and a white bow tie. Mine was made out of cardboard.

@peterlee We 'red brick' students escaped that dressing up bit until graduation day - and that was in English as well. 😂 I have a brother who went through all of that flummery at Oxford and loved it.

@FreddieUK I did a grand tour of Nottingham, Oxford, Sussex and OU!
At different stages of my life

@peterlee A real mix of ancient and modern. I had experience of four bricks and mortar universities, but I know lots of people who benefited from the OU. I enjoyed all my studies which, like yours, was spread out over my life.

Yep. In fact, nobody in my family saw me graduate from grad school, not even my wife.

@SomeMichGuy Right. I might have even bought lunch to celebrate.
@exexec Did you continue in the ministry?
