Now that I have little bit more free time I am planning to make the best of it before olive season.

I am going to get back trying to gain weight,get back on learning a martial art, start learning embroidery and more chinese and japanese cuisine recipes.

Chinese and Japanese food won't help with weight gain. Neither will the training.
I suggest you learn some americanized dishes...
Like do it yourself big macs.

Might not help if you want to gain weight but is definitely healthy.
Fast, easy and makes a great appetizer.

Hiyayako

Basic recipe
Tofu block- rinsed, dried enough to take excessive water out (I'll wrap it with paper towels a couple times. Keep in fridge to maintain coldness ). Cut into bite sized cubes.

Grated ginger
Slivers of long green onion
Tabico-fine slivers of dried fish flakes

Serve with Shoyu (soy sauce) on the side.

Pic is a small tofu serving, normal would be about three times the size.
