Can we finally admit the Bee-Gees were freakin’ awesome?

They were insanely good up until Spirits Having Flown. Nights On Broadway was the tipping point for me. Once the falsettos kicked in, they honestly sounded like cats trying to sing after a few cuts. They were incredible singers, no idea why they embraced that caterwauling on that level. And those guys played on their own tracks!

@uncalled4 They were a bit down n out and so changed direction. Growing up I only knew the Sat Night Fever Bee Gees. Wasn’t until many years later when the early Bee Gees became a guilty pleasure and then older when I thought guilty my ass, they were great song writers, sang insanely good harmonies, and were quite bold, in fact.

@Human1000 I knew their earlier stuff before SNF. I realized that between intra-band turmoil and lack of sales that they had to do something in the mid -70s.
