The Beatles/Quarrymen: In Spite Of All The Danger [Full Version, No Enhancements]

"In Spite of All the Danger" is the first song recorded by the Quarrymen, then consisting of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, pianist John Lowe, and drummer Colin Hanton.

McCartney wrote the song and Harrison provided the guitar solo, and so the song is credited to McCartney–Harrison.

Recording took place sometime between May and July 1958 at Percy Phillips' home studio in Liverpool

It makes sense that a lot of the Beatles early discography is so doo-woopy given what they played before they became the Beatles. In the low tide era that were the years 1958-1962 playing American doo-wop felt like the mandatory training course for English young bands in the making.

Even Marty McFly had to pay that fee in 1955 before skyrocketing from pop balladry to speed metal in roughly 40 seconds. He probably knew something we did not.

That was pretty cool. I never heard any full song from the Quarrymen.
