@helenS Hard to know. It's the most covered Beatles song and comments are closed on YouTube. Thomaida Kotsali is a woman, so that doesn't help.

@helenS My guess is that it's John. Most songs with a message were written by John. Paul did the sweet romantic stuff.

@lasergraph "Yesterday" is a Paul McCartney [u]solo[/u] song. It was published as a Beatles song but in fact it's only Paul's song.
