I Love the Beatles

[media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECs7TDAy9fY]

“Oh! Darling” was composed by Paul McCartney and released on the Beatles’ Abbey Road album in 1969. The song was done in the style of 1950s-60s Louisiana swamp pop and the sound was authentic enough that some in Louisiana initially thought the song was done by local performers. As a fan of that genre of music as well as the Beatles, I thoroughly enjoy this song.

John Lennon said that "he" should have sung that song and not Paul. But I can't imagine (no pun intended) anyone doing any better than Sir Paul!

@LedRobster Yes, I read that John Lennon said that, and I agree with you. Paul not only wrote the song, but he did a dynamite job as lead singer on it.

@Rutterman Paul does a great job on "I'm Down," as well. I always thought he had a better voice for those "shouter" songs than John.

@LedRobster I'm inclined to agree with you about that.
