I Love the Beatles

[media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECs7TDAy9fY]

“Oh! Darling” was composed by Paul McCartney and released on the Beatles’ Abbey Road album in 1969. The song was done in the style of 1950s-60s Louisiana swamp pop and the sound was authentic enough that some in Louisiana initially thought the song was done by local performers. As a fan of that genre of music as well as the Beatles, I thoroughly enjoy this song.

This woulda been a #1 on most any other artist's album at the time. As it went down, it was probably one of the less successful tunes on 'Abbey Road.' Coming up on 50 years and I'm hard-pressed to come up with another album I've respected and appreciated so much for so long.

@hlpflwthat Yeah, I think this is a mostly forgotten Beatles song that was overshadowed by some of the more popular tunes on the album. 'Abbey Road' is a great album, one of the best of all-time by anyone, in my opinion.
