Remembering musician, songwriter, singer, record producer, and Beach Boys co-founder, Brian Wilson, who passed away on June 11 at age 82.
Wilson was widely regarded as one of the most gifted and innovative songwriters of the 20th century. He was considered an artistic genius by many, though Wilson expressed disagreement with that assessment, saying, “I’m not a genius. I’m just a hard-working guy.”
He worked hard, no doubt, but I agree with those who believe he was an artistic genius.
Rest in peace, Brian Wilson, and thank you for all the wonderful music. 🙏
