when i was a child i listened to aretha and my mom caught me singing "if you want a do right woman" and she told me not to be singing it, i didn't know what it meant i just loved her songs.

First one i heard this song.
i always love when i hear such a good song i didn’t know existed.
i have one song that i have been seriously addicted to by her, “I’ll say a little prayer for you”. I prefer her version over Dionne’s.

She had such a great and powerful voice, for sure. I'd not heard her singing that one before, and it's beautiful. 🌻

Definitely best version of it.
