Bowling for soup how can you not smile while listening to their music and they're from Texas which makes them even more awesome.

The Butthole Surfers are another great band from Texas, despite their goofy name.

I think they're still together and they've been around since like 1981 or something. I think they knew they weren't going to be that marketable with a name like the Butthole Surfers. Hehe.

Absolutely! There's a great band from Arizona called the Meat Puppets. :-) Here is Nirvana playing one of their songs with two guys from the Meat Puppets.
