@ChickenWingFreak: Thank you,their are some bands that are crunge bangs could be counting as punk. Be remember one of the first punk bands was the Beatles

@ChickenWingFreak: They bucked the system and paved away for a lot of those groups. Their favorite place to play was in a basement "the cavern"
