A post in very bad taste indeed.

GipsyKing: we won't know the murderer's actual thinking but he may have waited until everyone was leaving so as to kill and injure as many as possible.

Muslim? He may have thought he was. Oh no - his main target was the audience, not the singer. He may not have known her background - but he probably knew her following is mainly teen- and pre-teen girls. Brave, eh?.

That has been the tactic of all such atrocities; to kill as many innocent as possible, in this case including children, not just one symbolic victim.

Manchester has a vibrant community of Christians, Jews, Muslims, Sikhs, Hindus, non-believers, the lot. It also suffered a similar, though non-suicide, bombing during the Irish "Troubles", by an IRA bomb in the main shopping-centre: no fatalities fortunately, but about 200 injured.

Last night, as moral support and condolences came from around the world, the Mancunians pulled together to show everyone what the bombers really are, irrespective of motive: ignorant, brutal cowards with no respect for human life.

Of course not[/b]. That was extremely offensive and I am surprised you even managed to interpret my post in that way.. Please read my 3rd and 4th paragraphs again, carefully.

@ArishMell: but you know you see it all the time people excusing away this stuff
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Mountainlady16:

Yes you do - and I agree, it doesn't make it right.
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@ArishMell: or denying it ever happened

@Mountainlady16:

Yes - I think there's an example elsewhere on this very thread. I've never understood why people do that.
