More Top Talent In The Making!
Last night, on BBC Radio Three:
The finals, performed in Bristol, of the BBC Young Musicians competition.
This scheme nurtures the best of young musicians at the start of their professional careers, with past alumin including Shekuo Kanye-Mason (cellist), Nicola Bernadetti (violinist) and Jess Gillam (saxophonist - also a R3 presenter).
I didn't get her name unfortunately but I think the winner of the three finalists was the soloist in Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto; which sounds a very difficult piece indeed
They perfomed with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
